One of my favorite things to do before celebrating the new year is to recap the previous one and reflect on all the good things going on in our lives. Our life is not perfect, but it is pretty darn good. We have so much to be thankful for. Many big changes happened this year and we thank the good Lord above for the blessings we do not deserve.
We started the new year in a new apartment...
We started tumble class in February... And still to this day she LOVES it...
...most days...
In March I started a new career at Century Aluminum, just in time to celebrate Easter...
We took full advantage of the apartment pool...
And spent lots of time outside to compensate for the apartment living...
In May we began potty training. And our little rock star mastered it in three days...
We spent lots of nap times together to make up for the fact that Everly has to sleep by herself at night.
Everly graduated to the 2 year old room...
In July we took our annual family vacation to Daytona...
That next week we transitioned to a big girl bed... Or the floor...
And found out Everly was going to be a big sister!
We celebrated her second birthday!
And broke ground on our new house!
Momma and Daddy enjoyed lots of date nights...
We dressed up for Halloween, but skipped the trick-or-treating...
Chad turned 30!
Everly had another ear surgery...
We had a very merry Christmas.
And wrapped up the year with a trip to Orlando.
We are so excited to start the new year. 2017 will bring us a new home, a new baby, and lots of new adventures. Happy New Year you all!
